A Photographer's Perspective at The Sterling Hotel by Wedgewood Weddings in Sacramento
The Sterling Hotel by Wedgewood Weddings in Sacramento was the perfect setting for Ashley and Nicholas's beautiful wedding day. As their photographer, I had the privilege of capturing every moment of their special day, from the anticipation of getting ready to the joy of their first dance as a married couple.
One of the challenges I faced was the lack of natural sunlight inside the venue. However, I saw this as an opportunity to get creative with lighting techniques and angles to showcase Ashley's stunning dress and accessories in a dramatic way. The main bridal suite, with its large window and natural light, proved to be the ideal location for all of the getting ready photos, allowing me to capture the intimate moments between Ashley and her bridesmaids.
When it came time to photograph Nicholas and his groomsmen, I knew that their room was too dark to work in. So, I decided to take them outside to make use of the natural light and capture some timeless and warm images of the groom and his party. The contrast between the indoor and outdoor shots added a unique touch to the overall wedding album.
As the day unfolded, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and joy as I witnessed Ashley and Nicholas exchange their vows and celebrate with their loved ones. The reception area, with its vast space and elegant décor, provided the perfect backdrop for capturing the love and happiness that filled the room.
Looking back on Ashley and Nicholas's wedding day, I am grateful to have been a part of such a special and intimate celebration. The genuine moments of love, laughter, and joy that I captured through my lens will forever hold a special place in my heart. It was a reminder of why I love being a photographer, to freeze moments in time and create cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

The picturesque landscaping with mature trees also provides a beautiful backdrop for photos and adds to the overall ambiance of the event. With multiple ceremony, cocktail hour, and event spaces available, guests will have a variety of options to choose from to ensure a seamless and memorable experience.
