sacramento wedding photographer holding a camera and smiling

I always tell my clients, “These are your photos. Once I edit and deliver your photos, I won't be the one looking at them 10, 15, or 20 years down the road… you in the other hand, will often drive down memory lane to visit the gallery. Therefore, I want you to be able to remember the moments, feelings, and the journey you took that got you there.”

I’m not aiming to make every single photo I take to “look” perfect. Instead, my goal is to capture your event fully - each image sharing a moment and contributing to telling the story of that point of time in your life. Don’t worry, I always make sure to get the photos where I ask you to “smile and look at the camera,” but I’ll definitely send over more of the ones that will make you smile, laugh, or even get tears in your eye - images that make a gallery truly timeless.

A GLIMPSE INTO MY LIFE

  • I used to focus on capturing landscapes and travel scenes, and I still do to some extent. However, my primary focus has shifted to wedding photography. That said, when I'm not photographing weddings, you might find me on the road, immersing myself in nature and exploring the great outdoors.

  • I was born in Quezon City, Philippines, and spent my formative years in Maui, Hawaii. After approximately 7 years, I relocated to Rocklin, California, where I completed my middle and high school education. Subsequently, I pursued higher education at Sierra College before transferring to Sacramento State, proudly representing with a spirited "Stingers up!"

  • Sports and academics were never my forte, but I always had a natural inclination towards the arts. During high school, I delved into art, photography, and dance, exploring my creative side. In college, I took my passion for dance, specifically "hip-hop," more seriously, considering it as a potential career path. However, it was my enduring love for photography that truly blossomed and persisted throughout and beyond my college years.

  • After college, I worked in the food and beverage industry at Bon Appetit Management Company at Google in Mountain View, Bay Area. As a program coordinator, I guided interns through our kitchens and operations. This role introduced me to HR and Recruiting. Eventually, I decided to leave my 9-5 job and pursue wedding photography full-time.
