A Love Story Unfolded: Lavender Farm & Old Sacramento Engagement Shoot

The sun was just beginning to rise as I packed up my gear and headed out to meet Kevin and Mara for their engagement photo session. I knew it was going to be a beautiful day filled with love and laughter, and I couldn't wait to capture it all through my lens.

Our first stop was Bunz Lavender farm in Lincoln CA, a stunning location that provided the perfect backdrop for our shoot. As we walked through the fields of lavender, I could see the love between Kevin and Mara shining through in every frame. They were completely at ease, laughing and joking with each other as I snapped away, capturing their natural chemistry and intimacy.

The challenges of shooting outdoors were apparent, with the changing light and unpredictable weather conditions. But I embraced these challenges, using them to my advantage to create timeless and authentic images that truly reflected the couple's love story.

After capturing some dreamy and classic shots at the lavender farm, we headed to Old Sacramento for a completely different vibe. The historic streets and rustic buildings provided a contrast to the natural beauty of the lavender farm, adding another layer of depth to the photos.

As the day drew to a close, I couldn't help but feel grateful to have been a part of Kevin and Mara's special day. It was a joy to witness their love and capture it in a way that was personal and heartfelt.
